Skulls Made of Skateboards, Diamonds, Fruit, and More!!

I, like many, have a sort of a thing for skulls. You could probably tell if you've seen my jewelry line. I've been coming across a lot of amazing skull sculptures made out of unconventional materials and I must share my finds!

Danielle Christine Jewelry Update

Been keeping super busy with my jewelry line, so that calls for my monthly update and shameless self promo!

I recently had two of my favorite fashion bloggers wear some of my pieces which I'm always excited about and also been making lots of new things which I gotta show off!

The gorgeous Bebe of Fated to Be Hated rocked another piece...my Skull Peter Pan Collar Necklace.

She made it look great of course. I'm still selling the skull collar necklaces in my shop, except they're in pink and green. I may make a few more black and white ones. We'll see...I have a lot of things on my jewelry making itinerary.

And then had the lovely Lua of Le Happy  wear a Gray Fringe and Crystal Point Necklace I made and she looking amazing as well! I'm thinking about making a few of these, maybe in other colors as well..again we'll see where my creativity takes me. It has a mind of its own.

And then here's some of my latest creations.

Those 2 handpainted ones were super fun to make! Took a lot of time, but it was worth it for the turn out!

And something a bit more simple...I had to buy these rainbow titanium coated pyrite stone beads, because I just love how they reflect so many colors. The are really much prettier in person, but I try to photograph my jewelry as best as I can.

I've been experimenting with "props" and different lighting techniques, but I really want to keep the focus on the jewelry without distracting, hopefully enhancing. I'll continue experimenting with different techniques and set ups probably forever, but I think these represent my style at the moment.

Danielle Christine Jewelry & Fated to Be Hated Update

My shameless plug for the day. I'll probably post a jewelry post every once in a while to keep you updated on the latest happenings going on with Danielle Christine Jewelry.

I make some pretty great jewelry ass most of you know. I've been doing it for quite some time now and I love doing it because 1. It's fun 2. It let's me be creative and turn my inspirations into wearable art.  and 3. I get so excited when someone wants to wear it!

Any artist gets excited when a painting, or sculpture, or whatever you've worked so very hard on sells, because you someone wants it to hang in their living room or use it for whatever purpose, but jewelry and accessories are a little bit different in my eyes, because people get to really show it off. I wear my own jewelry often and it's amazing when someone compliments it and you get to say "I made it."

So anyway, I just wanted to show off my latest work and then also show off some photos of one of my favorite fashionistas Bebe Zeva, wearing one of my pieces.

I haven't posted these on my Etsy Shop  yet, but they will be up today...Brand new!!

Check out my Up in Smoke blog post to see what inspired me to make this!

Whats's your favorite new item?

And heres Bebe!!

I just love how she puts together her outfits and accessories. The necklace really compliments this look and I think she did an amazing styling job with this shoot. See the rest of this look HERE.

Check out her many and very much "hyped" looks on Lookbook.nu

and her personal styling blog Fated to be Hated to see more of the lovely Bebe Zeva.
