Trend: Peter Pan Collars

Peter Pan Collars are popping up everywhere. They're not a new trend and were super popular in the 60s, so I've come across lots of cute vintage dresses and tops with the rounded collar. What is new and trendy now is the detachable fabric ones I keep finding on Etsy and the really nice metal and chain collar necklaces. The options are kind of limitless, so it was fun looking at all the different ones!  I even made some of my own with little skull beads. Super fun! Here's some of my latest Peter Pan Collar finds! Enjoy!

Look Of The Day: Orange, Leopard, and Neon Yellow

So I figured since I'm blogging about trends and fashion,  I should start sharing some of my own looks. I'll probably post these every so often just for fun. I'm not really sure what my style is, but I love playing with patterns and color. So here's my first "Look of the Day" post. I would love to get some feedback so feel free to leave a comment below!

The look:

In this look I used orange and leopard with pops of neon yellow in my accessories.  I'm kinda obsessed with neon yellow at the moment. I even dedicated a whole board on Pinterest to it: http://pinterest.com/daniglamour/not-so-mellow-yellow/

Also the skirt...obviously high low hem...another obsession I'm having at the moment, I actually feel a little weird if I'm not wearing a high low hem. It's a current problem. Chiffon button up collared shirts are also my must have at the moment. Everything was purchased at good old F21...my second home and place of work, which is actually a source of inspiration for this outfit.

Inspiration:

I had to do this wall at work last week and as you can see it's mostly neutral tribal and animal prints with pops of orange. See the connection? I don't think I did it on purpose, but sometimes when I spend a lot of time in a color story it begins to rub off on me!

And just to prove that I actually have a face, it only got chopped off in the picture, not in real life,  here it is. I'm wearing Limecrime lipstick in "My Beautiful Rocket" and my own Glamourdust in "Princess".

So there's me. What do you think?

Cut it Out!

Cut outs are a major trend right now. Taking a classic piece of clothing and giving it a bit of a sexy

edge is always fun. So for those of you willing to show a bit of extra skin, here are some of my favorite

cut out finds...makes me wish it was summer already!!

Black Dress with Cut Out Harness Top by Reverse

I love the top. Its just cut out in the perfect places and I cant get enough of the high low hem right now, another trend I have a bit of an obsession with at the moment. I like to call it "the mullet" hem...ha.

Red Dress by For Love and Lemons

How fun is that?

Here's a similar one in black...also by For Love and Lemons.

Love the velvet burnout and bell sleeves on this one.

Black Dolman Sleeve Top with Skull Cutout by Lipgloss and Black
Gettin' a bit more creative here with cut out shapes...
Skulls are one of my favorite things, so a skull shaped cut out...I'll take one in every color please! ;)

And heres something a bit more girly...

Heart Cut out Dress by Kaymkay

Is that fabric not just the most adorable? Has a total vintage vibe to it.

And another great shape STARS!

Star Cut Out Skirt by Acne

Thats not something you see everyday! Really diggin' the styling on this one. High waist with a bandeau and blazer. Not quite so sure about the placement of the stars though...that top one could get a bit scary if you know what I mean...

And now for some jewelry...cuz accessories are my FAVE.
