Illustration: Apak
Collaboration art team Aaron & Ayumi Piland also known as Apak have some beautiful illustrations I just had to share! The dark ones are my favorite, because they look like little creatures from another world & I love the contrasting colors.

Different: Illustrations by Johan Thornkvist
Stuck at home on a Friday night! Snowed in sucks :(
But I did find this fabulous Swedish illustrator that I want to share!
His name is Johan Thornkvist and what he does is place whimsical little cities and people that he illustrates into real life photographs. Drawing a literal fine line between fantasy and reality. I also really love the muted soothing colors he uses. There is an interview that Leivos posted translated in English that gives a little bit more of his perspective: http://leivos.com/post/9286219985/johan-thornkvist-is-an-illustrator-who-captures
Here is his website where you can buy shirts and prints and see more of his work: http://www.snarlik.se/
And heres some of my favorites...so hard to choose, because they're all so unique!
